The Louise Padded Bumper Bed Frame is designed for bedrooms where a generously upholstered bed takes centre stage. Its standout feature is the thick padded surround that runs along the sides and footboard, giving the frame a substantial, cushioned appearance. Unlike beds that rely mainly on decorative headboard patterns, Louise carries its upholstery detailing around the entire frame for a consistent look.
The featured cream upholstery gives Louise a soft, welcoming finish that works beautifully with warm neutral walls, wooden furniture and simple bedding. The padded edges bring depth to the bed's outline, while the straight-lined headboard keeps the design balanced. Its generous proportions make it particularly suited to rooms where you want the bed itself to be the main furnishing without adding elaborate buttons, mirrored inserts or ornamental trims.
Made to order in the UK, Louise is built on a reinforced timber frame and can be personalised with your choice of fabric, colour and bed size. An optional ottoman base provides concealed storage for spare bedding, while different headboard heights allow you to adjust the bed's overall appearance. As part of the Essex Luxe custom made beds UK collection, Louise combines the distinctive style of an upholstered bumper bed with the flexibility offered by bespoke bed frames.
Generously Padded Bumper Frame: Thick upholstered side rails and a padded footboard give Louise its distinctive substantial appearance, rather than the narrow frame found on many conventional beds.
Coordinated Upholstered Design: The padded surround works with the headboard to create a consistent fabric finish around the bed.
Choice of Upholstery: The featured cream finish is ideal for neutral interiors, while the available fabric and colour collections let you create a different look to suit your bedroom.
Optional Hidden Storage: Select an available ottoman base to add practical under-bed space for spare pillows, duvets and seasonal bedding without changing the bed's upholstered appearance.
