The Richmond Rise Luxury Upholstered Bed Frame stands out through its carefully arranged vertical upholstery. Broad padded sections sit between narrower channels across the straight rectangular headboard, creating a distinctive pattern with depth and texture. The matching footboard repeats the same arrangement, giving Richmond Rise a balanced, coordinated appearance from either end of the room.
The featured warm mink upholstery brings a rich, inviting finish to the design. Its soft, velvet-like surface complements cream bedding, wooden bedside furniture and neutral bedroom colours. Rather than using curved wings, diamond buttons or decorative trims, Richmond Rise lets the contrast between its wide and narrow padded sections provide the detail. The result is an upholstered bed that feels distinctive without looking overly elaborate.
Made to order in the UK, Richmond Rise can be personalised with available fabrics, colours and sizes. Its upholstered frame can suit a range of bedroom styles, from warm traditional interiors to more contemporary spaces. Part of the Essex Luxe custom made beds UK collection, Richmond Rise combines a distinctive upholstered design with the flexibility customers expect from bespoke bed frames.
Things You Will Like the Most
-
Alternating-Width Upholstery: Wide padded sections are separated by narrower vertical channels, giving Richmond Rise a recognisable design without conventional button tufting.
-
Matching Headboard and Footboard: The same upholstery pattern appears at both ends, creating a consistent finish rather than leaving the footboard plain.
-
Warm Mink Fabric Finish: The featured upholstery adds a rich neutral tone that pairs well with cream, beige and natural wood bedroom furniture.
-
Made-to-Order Personalisation: Select from available fabric colours and bed sizes to create a version of Richmond Rise that suits your bedroom.

Reviews of this product
Excellent service from start to finish!
The beds and custom mattresses were delivered on time and assembled/fixed professionally and efficiently. The team was friendly, careful, and made sure everything was set up properly before leaving. Really happy with the quality of the service and would definitely recommend them to others. Thank you!
We bought two absolutely amazing mattresses and two comfortable, beautifully designed beds from Essex Luxe, and we couldn’t be happier with the quality and service we received.
From the very beginning, Faz was incredibly accommodating and professional. He patiently listened to our requirements, helped us choose the perfect bed designs and fabrics, and even assisted us with the cost and discount. What really stood out was how passionate he is about his work and how genuinely he cares about his customers’ needs. The showroom is beautiful, with a great selection of beds on display, which made it much easier for us to choose. They also showed us plenty of options on their website. I was genuinely amazed by the variety of designs and, most importantly, the excellent quality. Faz clearly explained the timeline and assured us that our beds and mattresses would be delivered on time. The turnaround time was less than two weeks, which was fantastic, and he kept us informed throughout the process. On the delivery day, he arrived exactly as promised and assembled both beds quickly and professionally, without any hassle whatsoever. We are extremely impressed with our beds and mattresses, and the whole experience from selection to delivery was excellent. I would 100% recommend Essex Luxe to anyone looking for beautiful, high-quality beds and mattresses with outstanding customer service. Thank you, Faz, for your patience, professionalism and genuine care. We absolutely love our new beds! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
