The Verona Divan Ottoman Bed brings together a distinctive upholstered headboard and practical hidden storage. Its headboard features closely spaced vertical padded channels, framed by thick upholstered wings on either side. The featured design is shown in a muted blue-grey fabric, giving the bed a soft, textured appearance. For customers looking for a wingback divan ottoman bed UK, Verona offers decorative headboard detailing without a bulky traditional bed frame.
The vertical fluting runs across the headboard between two padded side wings, creating a balanced design that works well with both modern and traditional bedroom furniture. The matching upholstered divan base has a simple, box-shaped construction, keeping the focus on the headboard. With a standard headboard height of 54 inches and a choice of available fabrics and colours, this fluted headboard ottoman bed can be personalised to suit your bedroom.
Verona also provides useful storage beneath the mattress. Its gas-lift mechanism raises the mattress platform from the foot end, revealing a concealed compartment inside the divan base. The storage space is suitable for spare bedding, pillows and other lightweight household items, subject to the manufacturer's loading guidance. This upholstered divan bed with storage is especially useful in bedrooms where drawers would require additional space beside the bed.
Fluted Wingback Headboard: Narrow vertical padded channels are framed by upholstered side wings, giving Verona a distinctive appearance.
Built-In Ottoman Storage: Lift the mattress platform to access a concealed compartment beneath the bed without needing side-opening drawers.
Coordinated Divan Base: The simple upholstered base complements the headboard while keeping the overall bed design neat.
Custom Fabric Choices: Select from available fabric families and colours to create a finish that suits your bedroom.
The Verona Divan Ottoman Bed is a practical choice for anyone who wants the appearance of a fluted wingback headboard with the convenience of hidden underbed storage.

We were looking for a bespoke super king-size bed and were hitting a wall everywhere else in London—every single company we contacted quoted a minimum 4 to 8-week lead time. We reached out to Faz in Essex, and not only was he completely upfront and reassuring from the first conversation, but he managed to build and deliver the bed to us in under a week. That level of commitment is virtually unheard of these days. Beyond the speed, the craftsmanship is incredible. The frame is rock solid, the materials feel luxurious, and the attention to detail across the upholstery and finish is top-tier. You can tell immediately that Faz takes huge pride in what he puts out. It looks and feels twice the price of what we paid—it’s genuinely more than value for money. Faz is a rare breed in this trade: completely honest, down-to-earth, and follows through on every single promise he makes. His team was just as professional on delivery & installation. Couldn't recommend Essex Luxe highly enough—thank you, Faz and Team

Gorgeous sofas, great service and communication. It’s made my living room look amazing. Thank you
I had been searching online for a good quality bed for a while when I came across Essex Luxe through an Instagram ad. I started following their page and spent some time going through their posts. One thing that really stood out to me was the level of detail they provided when describing each bed, which gave me a lot of confidence in the quality of their products. I then visited their website and was honestly amazed by the beautiful range of bed designs. I had three colours in mind, so I sent them a DM on Instagram to ask about the differences. I received an instant response with the colour samples and fabric types, which was incredibly helpful. The person I spoke to was also very polite and helpful, so I decided to go ahead and place my order. During the first week after ordering, I received a call confirming my delivery date. The communication throughout the whole process was honestly outstanding. On the day of delivery, I was kept updated with calls and messages about the delivery time, so I always knew what was happening. Faz arrived with his colleague to deliver and assemble the bed, and they were absolutely fantastic. They were professional, respectful and worked quickly. The assembly was completed perfectly and they left everything looking great. The bed itself is beautiful, extremely comfortable and feels very solid and well made. From ordering to delivery and assembly, the whole experience has been excellent. I would definitely recommend Essex Luxe to anyone looking for a quality bed. They deliver nationwide and their customer service is second to none. I’m genuinely very happy with my purchase. Thank you to the whole team, especially Faz, for such a great service! 5 stars from me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
